They call me, Willie.

I am obsessed with helping others make the best decisions they can upstream (or for their future).

This obsession has come with realizing that even though hindsight is 20/20 there’s so much information available to help us make better decisions for our future if we look for it and if we share.

I am here to share with you.

My second obsession is to change the mindset around work and life. Work does not have to suck and I learned this through my own process. Throughout my life, I’ve worked jobs I loved, jobs I hated, and the all-too-normal good enough jobs. Like for many others, Covid forced me to re-evaluate what I was doing with my life and that re-evaluation sparked a change. And that spark sprung me into action into a process that I would like to share with you. I believe you can have the same or a better outcome than me (a job I’m more than happy with and very challenged by (in a good way)). But your mindset will have to change, and you’ll have to put in some work. However, this work can and will be fun.

Now what else do you need to know about me, I’m a reader (mostly business non-fiction and will share books I recommend), I’m a reformed YMCA pick-up basketball player (getting a bit too old for it I think), I’m a DJ in my own mind, I’m a brother, son, uncle, and husband. But more importantly, I’ve advised and coached hundreds of people officially and unofficially on their job search, undergraduate admissions, and if business school is or is not for them, and how to go about the application process afterward.

My personal mission in life is to multiply the amount of historically excluded populations to at least parity in employment and education outcomes by the time I die.
